Huge herds of wildebeest and zebra arrive from Tanzania and cross the Mara River. This is the busiest and most popular time, so book early.
January to March: calving season and fewer crowds
The weather is warm and dry, there are fewer vehicles, and the predators are active.
April to June: the green season
The long rains bring green landscapes and lower prices. Some roads get muddy, but the game viewing is still good.
